The Path Toward New Forms of Organization and Community?

In Planetary Dreaming, we build upon an assumption that we cannot address the current global issues using organizational models derived from the industrial paradigm. There is a necessity for increased flexibility and, most importantly, heightened creativity to enable profound transformations within our organizations and societies. The focus of this theme revolves around emerging organizational and leadership paradigms, such as Teal leadership, holacracy, and regenerative leadership, which present novel frameworks for leadership, organization, and mobilization.

Key questions within this theme include: How are our current organizations structured, and how can they be restructured? What elements are essential for a system, whether it be a company or an organization, to alter its course? To what extent can we challenge the self-perpetuating tendencies inherent in organizations and societies to induce behavioral or directional changes? How much agency do we possess to instigate significant shifts, and how can we cultivate learning processes to facilitate profound change?
