Project Description

One of the most important pillars of modern society is the economical models dictating how we exchange and distribute the resources of the planet. The current economic models do not support sustainable development and they are pushing us over the edge when it comes to the planetary boundaries.

We are seeking partners, funding and knowledge to launch an ambitious initiative that makes us dream up new planetary economical models, that works in real life for real people, while supporting the goals of absolute sustainability and global social justice.

Unlike other initiatives exploring alternatives to current economical models, we want to focus as much on micro economy as macro economy, trying to come up with alternatives ways of adopting new economical models in your house hold economy. How would a household version of the doughnut model look like? What would a wellbeing economy budget for a family look like? And what would it mean to a normal teenager if they were to live by the principles of degrowth?
